With great design prowess comes great responsibility.

"All the fires in California are all my fault. I just haven't been able to convince the state they need to change building codes and build Cob homes. It's my fault for not showing proof of concept how beavers and other apex wild animals engineered wildlife areas back in the day before man trapped and killed these animals. Fires put themselves out with beaver habitats and all creeks and rivers. It's my laziness for not getting all the home owners together and say we are not going to take it anymore with unsustainable homes that burn, get termites, and fall in earthquakes. It's I that failed to break down the walls of this mid century thinking written in all the building codes that don't allow innovative designers like myself to make it safe in this world. I asked the top permaculturist the best way to store water to stop a fire and he said build swales [contour infiltration channels] on the key line. I have a degree in natural building that taught me to prevent almost every form of natural disaster that could destroy a home and have perfect solutions to protect it. People are going to probably rebuild the same way since they are aware of no other options. They haven't heard about my work and have no where to turn. I hope they will forgive me. I'm so sorry I failed them."
